Founded February 2007, HCHT is a complex of MUSEUMS - James Van Allen Family Home, Henry County Museum and IW Archives located in the Saunders Elementary School building. HCHT sponsors events celebrating the Heritage of Henry County, IA.

We rely on donations from our community of supporters to fulfill our mission and maintain our historic buildings and collections from across Henry County, Iowa. We appreciate your consideration in donating to our cause as we preserve the past for future generations!
